On June 25, the photovoltaic power generation project of Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd., invested and constructed by ChinaTec Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ChinaTec Energy), was successfully connected to the power grid for power generation.
Located within the factory compound of Daye Special Steel in Huangshi, Hubei Province, the project marks another successful implementation of the innovative model of "utilizing idle spaces + developing clean energy". It effectively revitalizes idle factory resources and realizes compound and intensive utilization of land resources. During construction, the project team adhered to the philosophy of safe, efficient, green and innovative development. Making steady progress amid difficulties and carrying out refined construction, the team strictly controlled all construction links and repeatedly optimized and adjusted equipment details to guarantee high-standard and high-efficiency project completion as well as smooth acceptance for grid connection.
After grid connection, the clean electricity generated by the project will be prioritized for the factory’s production, cutting the plant’s reliance on conventional energy and substantially raising the proportion of consumed green power. The project will deliver remarkable energy conservation and emission reduction benefits every year. It integrates the pursuit of the "Dual Carbon" goals with enterprises’ high-quality development through concrete actions, and sets a replicable and promotable demonstration model for the green transformation and upgrading of the traditional special steel manufacturing industry.
